Valentine's Day

Today's post is going to be more of a rant, guess what about!.. Yup, you got that right. Valentine's day!

Alright, so I got my girlfriend tickets to see Death Cab for Cutie in Portland in May, cute right? I think so too, and so does she! But then people rag on my gift and hate on it because it's "not a real holiday" and "it's fake" why don't people just use this day to love everyone in their lives unconditionally instead of hating on everything that other people go out of their way to do? I guess it's really main stream to give love and gifts for valentines day, but don't hate on the people who do it just because you don't believe in it, and please, for the love of all that is holy, don't try to change my mind on the fact that i like giving things to others. Just telling people around you that you love them is enough for valentine's day and I think everyone deserves a little love in their lives.
